AUBURN – Comedian Paul Nardizzi, whose TV credits include “Comedy Central,” NBC’s “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” and Fox’s “Best Damn Sports Show Period,” will head another comedy lineup Saturday, Feb. 16, at Comedy Night at Fireside Inn & Suites.

He will appear with Jim Cahillane and local favorite Dennis Fogg.

With a rapid-fire style and sarcastic bent on life, Nardizzi headlines his own weekly show at Boston’s Comedy Connection and is in demand at theater shows, corporate functions, colleges, golf tournaments and fundraisers. Besides being a regular on national television, he is also a published author. His latest humor book is “602 Reasons to be Ticked Off.”

Well-known for his sports humor, Nardizzi has appeared twice on Fox’s “Best Damn Sports Show Period” and recently taped a show for the New England Sports Network, “NESN’s Comedy All-Stars,” which will air this summer. He has also written two sports-themed books: “The Sarcastic Sports Trivia Book, Vols. 1-2.”

Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets are $14, $12 with a reservation. For tickets, call 777-1777, or check www.laughingmatterscomedy.com. The show is part of a winter series of Saturday night shows presented by Laughing Matters Comedy at the Fireside Inn & Suites, formerly the Auburn Inn.
