OXFORD – Marcia Hall, executive director for USDA’s Farm Service Agency in Oxford County, has announced that it is postponing sign-up for the Dairy Disaster Assistance Program until the agency publishes final regulations in the Federal Register. Unlike other disaster programs, FSA was forced to delay dairy disaster sign-up because of the Paperwork Reduction Act and other regulatory requirements mandating the issuance of a proposed rule to receive public comments on the program.
