LEWISTON – Elizabeth L. Fournier, 74, of Pagoma Lane, Lewiston, died Thursday, Feb. 14, at d’Youville Pavilion after a brief illness.

She was born in Mechanic Falls on July 14, 1933, a daughter to the late Francis and Margaret (Goodwin) Gurney. She was educated in local schools and graduated from Edward Little High School, class of 1950.

She married the love of her life, Laurier N. Fournier on Feb. 3, 1951. Larry predeceased her on Oct. 12, 1997. She worked for RI Mitchell, and later helped manage the family-owned Happy Jack’s Resturant. She was a member of Holy Cross Church. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and especialy summers at the ocean with her family.

She leaves two sons, Michael Fournier of Harpswell and Thomas Fournier and his wife, Nancy, of Lewiston; two grandsons, Ben and Jon Fournier of Lewiston; a sister, Blanche (Austin) Frost of Poland; brothers-in-law, Roger (Terry) Fournier and George (Doris) Fournier, all of Lewiston; a sister-in-law, Carmen (Marco) Giancotti of Old Orchard Beach; and many special nieces and nephews.
