ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – Helen Dalrymple Small, 93, of Rocky Mount, N.C., passed away Feb. 12.

She was born Sept. 14, 1914, in Salem, Mass., to the late William and Grace Dalrymple.

She is survived by one son, Leslie D. Small Jr. and wife, Pam, of Rocky Mount, N.C.; eight grandchildren, Allen Small and wife, Charleen, of Newport News, Va., Ricky Small and wife, Janet, of Yorktown, Va., Steven Small and wife, Lynn, of Carrollton, Va., Neil Small and wife, Jodie, of Glouster, Va., Lee Curtis and wife, Kris, of Orlando, Fla., Dean Curtis of Jacksonville, Fla., Mark Curtis and wife, Terry, of Spanaway, Wash., and Cindy Jenkins and husband, Michael, of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband of 52 years, Leslie D. Small Sr.; and daughter, Shirley Ann Curtis.
