MANCHESTER, Conn. – Aurore M. (Beaulieu) Lepage, 88, of East Hartford, Conn., beloved wife of the late Fernand L. Lepage, passed away on Friday, Feb. 15, at Manchester Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Dec. 2, 1919, in St. David, Maine.
Aurore and Fern met and married in Lewiston, Maine, where they had one son. They moved to Hartford, Conn., in 1957, where she worked at Hartford Hospital for many years. They returned to Lewiston, Maine, after retirement in 1996. Aurore recently moved back to East Hartford after her husband’s death.
She is survived by her son, Normand L. Lepage and his wife, Joan, of East Hartford; four grandchildren, Pam and her husband, Joseph Balskus, of Portland, Donna and her husband, Thomas Balskus, of Bolton, Brian Lepage and his wife, Amy, of East Hartford and Colleen and her husband, Manoli Papagianneris, of Simsbury; seven great-grandchildren, Weston, Jordon and Colton Balskus of Portland, Sophia and Olivia Balskus of Bolton and Caitlin and Nathan Lepage of East Hartford; one brother, Louis Beaulieu of Lewiston, Maine; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband; she was predeceased by her parents, Belonie and Euphemie Beaulieu; three brothers, Lawrence, Amedee and Valier Beaulieu; and two sisters, Cecile Dumond and Mimie Beaulieu.
