Auburn – Cecile M. Robichaud, 83, formerly of 228 Lisbon St., died Saturday at the Odd Fellows Home where she resided for the past two years.
Born in Lewiston on June 11, 1924, a daughter of the late Louis and Blanche Gosselin Parent, she was educated in Lewiston schools. She was married to Charles E. Robichaud who died on March 8, 1988.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Parish and attended Ss. Peter and Paul’s Parish. After raising her children, she worked for several years at Dori Shoe Co. She enjoyed playing bingo and had unconditional love for her family.
She is survived by three daughters and their spouses, Irene and Louis Blais of Poland, Doris and Dennis Dove of Litchfield and Carmen and Victor Carney of Greene; three sons, Maurice Robichaud and his wife, Lucy, of Greene, Michel Robichaud of Greene and Richard Robichaud of Lewiston; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanne Grady of Auburn and Theresa Gahagan and her husband, James, of Auburn; and a brother-in-law, Harvey Fugere of Auburn.
She was predeceased by a sister, Armande Fugere; a brother and sister-in-law, Gerard and Simone Parent; and a brother-in-law Arthur Grady.
