LEWISTON – Sharon A. Trask, 62, of Lewiston, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion following a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston and was a 1963 graduate of Edward Little High School.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Auburn.

She worked at GE in Auburn for 26 years, and was active in 4H as well as the American Legion Auxiliary, which she served on the education committee and the nursing scholarship committee, as well as La Boutique 840 of the Legion Auxiliary, where she served all offices of La Boutique.

She was departmental chapeau, which is the highest office with La Boutique.

Survivors include two daughters, Darlene and Shawn Vigue of Waldoboro and Belinda and John Fortier of Auburn; three granddaughters, Chelsea and Clarice Fortier of Auburn and Allyssa Grover of Waldoboro; as well as Sharon’s companion, Dale Estabrook of Lewiston. Also surviving is her aunt, Stella Hanscom of Auburn; and a nephew, Kenny and Debbie Slater of New Hampshire.

She was predeceased by her parents, Aaron and Emily Hanscom; her late husband, Arthur Trask; and two sisters, Carolyn Slater and Gladys Hanscom.
