MEXICO – Ann Marie (Provencher) Dupree, certified nursing assistant, 68, died Sunday, Feb. 17, after a battle with cancer and with her family by her side at her home on Main Street.
She was born in Rumford on Sept. 18, 1939, a daughter of Francis “Frank” and Geraldine (Baxter) Doherty and had attended Mexico schools.
She worked as a C.N.A. at the Rumford Community Home in Rumford for more than 13 years, until recently retiring due to her illness.
She was a communicant of St. Theresa Church in Mexico. She was a strong, devoted mother and Nana who was the rock of her family and will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Survivors include three children, Stephanie Benedix and Russell and Christel Dupree, all of Mexico; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
