A 15-year-old mutt named Oscar brought a little joy to residents of Pierce House during a rainy, icy Monday morning in Farmington.

Resident Mary Neel spent some time patting the patient, friendly dog who is available for adoption at the Franklin County Animal Shelter.

Animals are brought to Pierce House about once a month to spend some time with residents.
