The Lisbon High School class of 2009 have been busy selling community cookbooks to help raise funds for their graduation, prom, and money to be used in the future for other class projects. The recipes in the cookbook were submitted by teachers, parents, family members, local Lisbon residents and students.

I asked Brian Craig, a member of the class of 2009, and a member of the Advocate Staff, what his thoughts were on the fundraiser. Brian shared “I think the cookbook sales are a great idea because the recipes came from the community. It’s a great way to make money for our class activities”. The class of 2009 has done many fundraisers this year with the help of their families and local businesses.

Cookbooks are still available. If you are interested in purchasing a cookbook, to support the Class of 2009, contact Patty Mucenski at [email protected] or call 353-3030.
