OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Michael H. Dube, 52, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on Monday, Feb. 11, at his home.

He was born in Newark, N.J., on June 6, 1955, a son of Gilbert and Georgette Dube.

He attended schools in New Jersey and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

For 22 years, he was employed as an engineer and other positions at Bath Iron Works.

He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed baseball and boxing. He gave charitable contributions to the Christian Children’s Fund for many years.

He is survived by a brother, Alan Dube of Standish; a sister, Donna Morin of Melbourne, Fla.; two daughters, Kathryn Dube of Brunswick and Taylor Dube of Lewiston; and a son, Michael Dube II of Augusta.

He was predeceased by his parents, Gilbert and Georgette Dube; and his first wife, Debra J. Dube.
