LEWISTON – Lucille L. Duprey, 77, of 54 Whitney Brook Lane, Canton, died early Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Portland on Feb. 4, 1931, the daughter of Charles and Lucy (Lee) Desjardins.

She was employed for many years in the local shoe industry, and she was last employed as a matron for the Auburn Home for Aging Women, now known as the Chapman House.

She was a member of the Metis of Maine. She enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting and taking care of her birds.

She is survived by a daughter; a son; six grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Marilyn Louise.
