BRIDGTON – Olga Mary Tetamente Varisco Gallinari, 87, of Gallinari Way, Bridgton, died suddenly Friday, Feb. 15, at her home.
She was born on March 1, 1920, in Italy, the daughter of Lewis Tetamente and Carmilla Tetamente Varisco. She graduated from Kennett High School in Conway, N.H., and grew up in Redstone, N.H.
She married Anselmo L. Gallinari on Sept. 17, 1939, at St. Joseph Church in Bridgton.
She was a vibrant, happy, thoughtful, kind and loving person who wanted always to be near the mountains and enjoyed New England. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church and attended Mass daily for many years.
She was a longtime member of the Women’s Guild. She managed and was co-founder of Brookline Cottages in Bridgton. She also helped with Gallinari Appliance Store and, along with Sam and the Kingsleys, was co-owner of the Norway Drive-In, Oxford for several years.
She was on a women’s bowling league for many years and enjoyed playing cards with many of her friends. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Paul A. Gallinari and wife, Judy; his children, Paul Mark Gallinari and wife, Penny, and their children, Paul Allen and Mason; Joseph Gallinari and wife, Arlene, and their children, Dominic and Brianna; Antonio Gallinari and his wife, Julie; Debra Dutton and husband, Kenneth, and daughter, Laura; also her former daughter-in-law, Anne Wheaton Gallinari, all of Bridgton; her daughter-in-law, Sandy Gallinari of Bridgton and children, Michael Gallinari and sons Mark, Matthew and Keith of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Stephen Gallinari and daughters Ashley and Adrianne and Michelle Gallinari and sons Marty and Mario of Bridgton; also her sister-in-law, Geraldine Gallinari; and many nieces, nephews and members of the Solari family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Sam, in 1987; and a son, John, in 1984.
