ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Norman H. Perkins died Feb. 10 in St. Petersburg, Fla.

He was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Lewiston; attended Acme Business College, Lewiston; Portland Junior College and Lasalle School of Stenotype, Boston, Mass. He was retired from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs as an administrative officer in Washington, D.C.

He was an Army Air Force World War II veteran. He received a bronze star for his service in China. He resided in St. Petersburg, Fla., from 1983.

He is survived by wife, Reine C. Perkins of St. Petersburg, Fla.; sister, Pauline Lachance; sister-in-law, Candide Leblanc; brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Odette Fournier; cousins, Lauretta Duprez and Raymond Pinette, all of Maine; and many nieces and nephews.
