DURHAM – Two Twin City women complained of pain and were transported to Central Maine Medical Center by Durham Fire and Rescue following a 5:35 a.m. crash Saturday.
Androscoggin Deputy Sheriff Craig MacMillan identified the injured as Charlotte Blier, 52, of Lewiston and Sandra Lambert, 50, of Auburn.
The women were passengers in a vehicle driven by Lynn Geiger, 49, of Lewiston and were on the way to work at L.L. Bean in Freeport.
According to MacMillan, Geiger was heading south on Royalsborough Road (Route 136) toward Freeport when her SUV skidded in slush, went off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole
Geiger escaped apparent injury. Her 2006 Honda was totaled, MacMillan said.
