LEWISTON – Peter Schoen, 64, of Lewiston died Feb. 22, at Central Maine Medical Center, after a short illness.

He was born in South Boston, Sept. 10, 1943, a 1961 graduate of South Boston High School.

On June 7, 1964, he married the love of his life, Rose Marie Digaetano. He had been employed in the local shoe industry for many years. He enjoyed airplanes, traveling, fishing, dogs and New England sport teams.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Marie; son, Frank Digaetano; a granddaughter, Cheyenne Marie MacInnes; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
