Rock bands Quill, Of Riots and Outbreaks, The May Day Project and Crash Course will play at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, in the Teen Band Shows at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center. This is a supervised, chemical-free evening. Quill is an alternative rock band out of Augusta. Members, above, from left, Jon Lawrence, Jon Gilbert, Matt Tarrio and David Weiss use their own experiences and humble views on the world to create different sounds and styles of music.
