AUBURN – Lucille Cyr, 86, of Ash Street, Lewiston, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice surrounded by family.
She was born in Madawaska on June 25, 1921, a daughter to the late Thadee and Margaret (Hebert) Ouellette. She was educated in St. David schools. She worked for many years for herself cleaning homes. She was a member of Holy Family Church. Her favorite thing in life was spending time with her family. She always looked forward to visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She leaves her two daughters, Madeline Lapierre and her husband, Richard, of Auburn and Verna Chasse and her husband, Clerence, of Lewiston; a son, Joseph Cyr and his wife, Jeannine, of Poland; a sister, Ozith Clavet of Van Buren; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband, Emile X. Cyr in 1980; six brothers; and a sister.
