Paul Shaw of Lewiston has been promoted to sergeant in the Maine Army National Guard. Shaw has been a member of the Recruiting and Retention Command for more than three years. In 2003 he deployed to Kuwait with the 1136th Transportation Co. Shaw is a 2001 graduate of Caribou High School and is engaged to Amanda Gray.
