FARMINGTON – A Farmington woman apparently died of hypothermia along a snowmobile trail off the Holley Road, Farmington police Lt. Jack Peck said Friday.

The body of Edrea Graham, 42, of 620 Holley Road was discovered by her father, Ed Graham, after he went looking for her Friday afternoon. Edrea Graham went on daily walks alone and liked to walk the trail, Peck said.

After noticing her missing Friday morning, her father walked the trail and found her approximately three miles from the Holley Road, he said. Her body was found a short distance off the trail, he said.

Graham lived in a trailer on her parents’ property. She was last seen about 3:30 or 4 p.m. Thursday. It is not known when she went out on the trail or why she was unable to return to her home, Peck said.

The death is not suspicious, and it appears it may be due to hypothermia, he said. The state medical examiner’s office has been notified.

Farmington police officer Ed Hastings responded to the 12:25 p.m. call Friday from Ed Graham and reached the scene at 2:05 p.m. Snowmobiles from the Maine Warden Service, the Maine Forest Service and Farmington Fire and Rescue were used to reach the body after receiving the emergency call from Graham.
