SOUTH PARIS – Thomas and Sheri Coore of South Paris are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Tyanna Batchelder of Buxton, to Ryan Hartman of Buxton, son of John Hartman of Gray and Karen Hartman of Standish.

Miss Batchelder is a 2007 graduate of Southern Maine Community College with a degree in behavioral health and human service. She is employed at NFI North Beacon House in Buxton.

Mr. Hartman is a 2007 graduate of Southern Maine Community College with a degree in computer science. He is currently enrolled at the University of Southern Maine for a degree in industrial technology. He is employed at Pet Health Networks in Falmouth.

An August 2009 wedding is planned.
