FARMINGTON – Dick and Anne Carpenter of Eliot are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Beth Carpenter, to Jon McCabe, son of Jim and Bonnie Matthieu of Farmington.

Miss Carpenter is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine and is currently employed at DeMillo’s in Portland.

Mr. McCabe attended the University of Southern Maine and is currently employed at Brockway-Smith in Portland.

The wedding will be held Aug. 23 at Eliot Baptist Church in Eliot, with a reception to follow at Spring Hill in South Berwick.
