RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Laurette Lavoie was celebrated Thursday at St. Athanasius & St. John Catholic Church. The Rev. Angelo Le Vasseur was celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Ave Maria,” “Hosea, Because the Lord is My Shephard,” and “J’irai la Voir un Jour.” The eulogy was given by her son, Peter Lavoie. Pallbearers were Gregg Freeman, Bill Lavoie, Peter Lavoie, Scott Dobson, Paul Anastasio and Russell Theriault.

Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Services were under the care of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
