Dozens of competitors took part in Saturday’s Tom Magno/Ben Hayes Memorial Race at Lost Valley Ski Area. Others just came to have fun in the freshly fallen snow.

Past and present Edward Little High School racers and other local skiers were invited to a day of fun at the 13th annual Tom Magno Memorial Race on Saturday at Lost Valley. The Auburn Ski Association hosted the event and the proceeds will benefit the Ben Hayes Support Fund, established to assist Ben Hayes with medical care and equipment needed as the result of a severe spinal cord injury he suffered in a December 2007 accident.

Family, friends and teammates of two former Edward Little skiers, Ben Hayes (’96) and the late Tom Magno (’67), joined for a day of family fun.
