TURNER – Dr. David and Patricia Varney of Turner are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Katrina Varney, to Charles Guignard, son of Carl Guignard and Susan Rowe of Lewiston.

Miss Varney is a senior at the University of Southern Maine, studying natural and applied sciences with biology of health and illness concentration.

Mr. Guignard is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School and is currently employed as a mechanic at Lepage Bakeries.

A summer wedding is planned.
