JAY – Funeral services for Eileen Palmer were held Friday morning at the Jay Baptist Church, with the Rev. Alan Archer officiating. Dot White served as organist. “Amazing Grace,” “In The Garden” and “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” were the featured hymns. Eileen’s two daughters and son-in-law gave words of remembrance, as well as several of those in the congregation. Following services, a luncheon was served in the church undercroft. Eileen’s family served as pallbearers. Winter entombment is at the funeral home with interment in the spring at Jay Hill Cemetery. Funeral services were cared for and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center of Wilton.
