COVENTRY, CONN. – Gerald “Jerry” S. Mills, 76, of Coventry, Conn., beloved husband of Blanche (Bourgoin) Mills, passed away on Feb. 20, at his residence.
He was born on Nov. 13, 1931, to the late Robert and Mary (Farrar) Mills of Poland.
Jerry was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Air Force.
He retired from Pratt and Whitney after 34 years of dedication.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing and gardening and he also loved to work on his tractors and cars.
Besides his wife, Blanche, he is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Sharon Mills of Andover, Conn., and their children, Timothy and Brittany; his daughter, Karen Long of Mansfield, Conn., and her daughter, Kristen; his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Mario Chiaravelotti of North Conway, N.H.; his sister-in-law, Cecile Burgoyne of Auburn; and his uncle, Donald Mills and wife, June (Kilgore), of Buckfield.
Jerry was predeceased by his son, Steven.
