Arrests

• Travis Palmer, 31, Rumford, warrant charging unpaid fines on charge of operating under the influence, 3 p.m. Feb. 28 on Franklin Street. He was released on $80 cash bail. An arraignment date hasn’t been set.

Accidents

• March 1, 1 p.m. – A 1996 Dodge Ram pickup truck operated by Thomas Scotti, 20, of Andover was struck on Route 2 by a 1987 Dodge Caravan driven by Scott Walder, 32, of Canton. Prior to the crash, Scotti pulled his truck, which developed a problem, to the right side of the road and waited for a tow truck. When the tow truck arrived, he got the pickup going again and reparked it. That’s when Walder’s van slid on snow and ice and into Scotti’s truck. Damage to the Caravan was estimated at $3,000; to the Ram, $2,000.
