The Norway Memorial Library has an exhibit, “Images of Africa,” in the glass display case. Julie Gordon and her children, Silas and Rosemary, are looking at African wooden sculptures, carvings and brass plates from Botswana, Mozambique, Nigeria and Zimbabwe. The items reflect the One Book One Community 2008 theme, “Making a Difference.” The project will be collecting books for the Mabule Primary School in Botswana. The objects will be on display until April. For more information, call the library at 743-5309.
