LEWISTON – Theresa “Terry” Lessard, 57, a resident of Lessard Drive in North Turner, died Tuesday, March 4, at Central Maine Medical Center after a long illness.

She was born on July 14, 1950, in Frenchville, the daughter of Gerard and Cecile (Vaillancourt) Chasse and graduated from St. Agatha High School.

On Dec. 27, 1969, she married Claremont T. Lessard. Terry was a devoted homemaker, loving wife, and mother.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years of North Turner; a son, Jimmy Lessard and his companion, Lori Mayberry, of North Turner; four sisters, Claudette Bourgoin and her husband, Gilman, Rinette Pelletier, Janice Cote, all of Madawaska, and Susan Chasse of Oklahoma; a brother, Donald Chasse and his wife, Sharon, of Frenchville; and many nieces and nephews.
