AUBURN – Katie Marie Scott, 19, of Sunderland Drive, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, at her residence, with her loving family at her side.

She was born in Rumford, on Nov. 20, 1988, a daughter of Glenn A. and Kim (Wardwell) Scott.

Katie attended Edward Little High School and will be sadly missed by her teachers and classmates.

She touched the life and hearts of many and was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her and she will be missed.

She is survived by her parents, Kim and Glenn Scott of Auburn; paternal grandparents, Elwin and Verna Scott of Yarmouth; maternal grandmother, Florence Wardwell of Mexico; maternal grandparents, Clyde and Jane Wardwell of Dixfield; her two dogs, Thistle and Roscoe; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to all who helped care for Katie.
