LEWISTON – Young People of the Lewiston-Auburn Area is offering the following seminars and workshops, held at the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce, 179 Lisbon St., Lewiston, unless otherwise specified:
March 19, noon-1:30 p.m., YPLAA networking lunch, limited to 25 people, everyone gets two minutes to promote their business Bring business cards and/or promotional materials to handout. Bring a lunch. Optional networking available from 1-1:30 pm. Registration required.
March 25, 9-10:30 a.m., seminar “Understanding Generational Differences in the Workplace.” This seminar will help attendees understand the differences among the generations in the workplace.
March 27, 5 p.m., YPLAA networking event at DaVinci’s Restaurant, 150 Mill St. A chance to network with other YPLAAers. Bring dry goods such as paper plates, napkins, plastic cutlery, diapers, toilet paper, zip lock bags, etc., to donate to Hope Haven Gospel Mission.
April 17, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., open discussion with a career and executive coach. Bring any career related questions, from issues with organizational development and human resources to questions on career advancement.
