AUBURN – Announcement is made of the engagement of Karen C. Bixby and Richard C. Giguere.

Miss Bixby is the daughter of Chester and Sandra Bixby of Auburn. She graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn and is currently employed at Central Maine Credit Union in Lewiston.

Mr. Giguere is the son of Diane and Paul Beaucage of Auburn and Richard and Cindy Giguere of Lisbon. He graduated from E.E. Smith High School in Fayetteville, N.C., and is currently employed at Max Finkelstein in Lewiston.

A September wedding will be held at All Souls Chapel in Poland, and a reception will follow at the Carriage House in Lewiston.
