JAY – Announcement is made of the engagement of Sarah Blackman and Tobey Hockridge, both of Fayetteville, N.C.

Miss Blackman is the daughter of Kathi and Kimball Farrington of Jay and Richard and Annie Blackman of Mashpee, Mass. She is a 2002 graduate of Jay High School and a 2006 graduate of Manhattanville College in New York with a bachelor’s degree in music management. She is currently employed at the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville, N.C.

Mr. Hockridge is the son of Stu and Cindy Hockridge of Weeks Mills. He is a 2000 graduate of Winslow High School and a 2004 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy with a bachelor’s degree in military history. He received a commission into the Air Force and is currently a first lieutenant stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C., working as a communications officer for the aviation tactics and evaluation group.

The wedding will be held March 29 in Winslow.
