RUMFORD – Richard and Jane Desbiens of Acworth, N.H., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Leah Desbiens of Norwood, Mass., to Matthew Belanger of Norwood, Mass., son of Laurier and Barbara Belanger of Rumford.
Miss Desbiens is a 1999 graduate of Stevens High School in Claremont, N.H., and a 2003 graduate of Stonehill College in North Easton, Mass., with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. In 2004 she received her master’s degree from Stonehill College and is currently employed as a CPA at Walter & Shuffain, PC of Norwood, Mass.
Mr. Belanger is a 1995 graduate of Mountain Valley High School in Rumford and a 1999 graduate of St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., with a bachelor’s degree in natural sciences. He is currently employed as an account manager at Parametric Technology Corp. in Needham, Mass.
A ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. June 14 at St. Timothy’s Church in Norwood, Mass. A reception will follow at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxborough, Mass.
