AUBURN – Patricia L. Thurlow, 66, of Mechanic Falls, passed away on Thursday, March 6, at the Hospice House.
She was born in Auburn on April 16, 1941, the daughter of Alton O. and Grace M. (Anderton) Bradbury.
She graduated from Lisbon High School in 1960. Patricia then attended Gorham State Teacher’s College for her undergraduate degree and the University of Maine for her graduate degree.
She married Albert “Skeet” in 1976. While she was in college she was a waitress at Stowe House in Brunswick and was also an operator for New England Telephone. As a teacher she worked for Grafton, Mass., schools and then went on to Webster Elementary School in Auburn, primarily as a fourth-grade teacher.
She enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Phoenix, Ariz., for the winter with her husband.
Patricia is survived by her husband and soul mate, Skeet; sons, Christopher, Tony and Tom Thurlow; brother, Robert Bradbury and his companion, Michelle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, M. Alton Bradbury.
Patricia was known to all as a kind and generous person, an excellent friend, and loving mother.
