PHILLIPS – Funeral services for Blance V. Allen of Farmington, formerly of Phillips, were held Saturday, March 1, at the Phillips United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sue Kaplan-Burggess and the Rev. Eric Swanfeldt co-officiating. Congregational hymns included “How Great Thou Art,” “In The Garden,” and “The Old Rugged Cross.” Scripture readings were Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 and John 14:1-4. Family members served as pallbearers. Following services, a family reception was held at the Phillips Community Building. Winter entombment at the funeral home. Spring burial will be on the family lot at Jay Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center 137 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington.
