Lodge program
AUBURN – Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 17, in the Grand lodge office meeting room at 80 Caron Lane. Refreshments will be provided with a St. Patrick’s theme.
Schuyler Colfax, who was born March 23, 1823, was the founder of the Rebekah Degree, and he will be remembered.
Noble Grand Diane Treacy asks that all attending wear a touch of green and bring an Irish joke or proverb to read as part of the program. During the meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m., a collection will be taken for the arthritis fund. The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs nationally are major contributors.
Easter dinner
LEWISTON – Hope Haven Gospel Mission will provide a free Easter dinner between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Easter Sunday, March 23, at 209 Lincoln St.
All in need are welcome, said Pastor Paul McLaughlin. The meal will be available to shut-ins as well. Call 783-6086 for delivery.
Seniors trip
LITCHFIELD – The Litchfield Senior Center is scheduling its first Road Runner trip of 2008. A trip to the Hollywood Slots in Bangor is slated for Tuesday, March 25. If interested, contact Carol Bailey, center director, at 268-2097 or 754-4607.
