Parade meeting
JAY – A Tri-Town Fourth of July Parade meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at the VFW Hall, 64 Jewel St. Committee members are always looking for new ideas. All are welcome.
Easter cantata
JAY – The Jay Baptist Church 18-member choir and an extra cast of 17 will present the dramatized Easter cantata, “Rise Again,” at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday, March 16.
Plan programs
NEW VINEYARD -The New Vineyard Historical Society will convene for a planning meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, in the historical room.
Anyone interested in the history of New Vineyard and its families is invited. Members welcome ideas for this year’s programs. For more information, call 652-2254 or 652-2273.
KT Easter service
PHILLIPS – Pilgrim Commandery 19, Knights Templar, will hold its annual Easter service and breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, March 23, at the Blue Mountain Masonic Lodge Hall. All sir knights and Masons are invited to attend along with their sons and grandsons. Donations will be accepted for the breakfast.
MS supper
JAY – A spaghetti and meatball supper, to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society, will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at St. Rose Parish Hall. Cost is $5 a person. Take-out dinners will be available. Contact Kim Couture at 645-3901 for more information or to order take-out.
