FARMINGTON – Stacey arrived at the Franklin County Animal Shelter as a stray and was a little skinny at first. Now the beautiful calico has a plump little belly and has tons of energy, said staff.
She loves to scurry about the room and pounce on items. Stacey has her loving moments as well. She loves to cuddle up close to anyone who is sitting down, staff said. She slowly inches her way up into a lap like it is a game. She likes to think she is one up on everyone.
For more information, call 778-2638 or visit the shelter on Route 43.
The shelter will host a low-income neuter clinic for cats on Sunday, March 30. Appointments are required and can be made at the shelter or by calling 778-2638.
The shelter is in a competition to earn points to win a free shelter enhancement. Visit www.zootoo.com for more information and help staff earn points. They are hoping to get an isolation room so they can properly treat sick or injured animals that arrive at the shelter.
