LEWISTON – The Recreation Department will host its 9th annual Easter egg hunt from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lewiston Memorial Armory, 65 Central Ave.
The free event is for pre-schoolers through fifth-grade. It will be held rain or shine.
The Easter egg hunt will cover the majority of the Armory gym floor. Children are asked to bring their own baskets.
There will be Easter bunnies, and area DJ Dave Dionne will play popular songs. Activities will include the “bounce,” face painting, beads and games. Food will be available for purchase.
Children are welcome to dress in simple Easter costumes and/or bonnets. They must be accompanied by parents or legal guardians.
