AUBURN – The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA is offering a T-ball instructional program for 5 and 6-year-old boys and girls. The program starts Saturday, March 22 and ends Saturday, April 26.
Sessions will run from 9 to 10 a.m. in the ‘Y’ gymnasium. The program is designed to teach the children the basic skills needed to play tee ball. Children will learn proper techniques for throwing, fielding, hitting and running the bases.
Children must supply their own gloves and wear appropriate footwear; please, no cleats.
Registration is under way and may be completed at the front desk of the YMCA. Cost is $30 for members and $35 for non-members. Children will receive a t-shirt and certificate upon completion of the program. FMI, contact Josh LaPrell at 795-4095 or by e-mail at jlaprell@alymca.com.
