LEWISTON – The second floor of the Lewiston Public Library will be closed for carpet installation during two three-day periods, the first of which begins Monday.

The Internet, Teen Room, Maine Room and Reference area will be closed March 17-19, and then again March 24-26.

The magazine and nonfiction collections will be unavailable for browsing, and the study rooms will not be accessible.

The first and third floors, however, will be open as usual, and patrons will be able to check out and return library materials, browse fiction, movies and music, plus read the daily newspapers and visit the Children’s Room.
