PERU – Brian and Linda Conrad of Dartmouth/Halifax, Nova Scotia, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Lynn Conrad, to Trevor Erin Parent, son of Vera and Edgar Parent of Peru.

Miss Conrad is a 2001 graduate of St. Mary’s University and received her teacher certification from UMPI in secondary English. She is currently teaching in Halifax.

Mr. Parent is a 2002 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and attended Norwich University in Vermont. He graduated from UMPI in 2007 with a degree in secondary physical education. He is currently teaching at Lee Academy.

A July 5 wedding will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
