This is in response to the article about golfer Tripp Isenhour who killed a hawk with a golf ball (March 7).

I say the bird deserved to die for being stupid enough to sit there and let a guy take potshots at it with a golf ball. Furthermore, instead of berating Isenhour, we ought to congratulate him for being such a good shot.

I guess it could be said that he shot a birdie.
