FARMINGTON – Priscilla (Lovejoy) Tracy, 83, of Farmington, died Thursday evening, March 13, at her home of natural causes.
She was born on April 23, 1924, at Dr. C.W. Bell’s Hospital in Strong, the daughter of the late Leon K. and Kathlyn (Jack) Lovejoy. She was educated in the schools of Farmington and graduated from Farmington High School in 1941.
On Dec. 5, 1942, she married Justin Tracy in Newark, N.J. He predeceased her on Aug. 8, 2000.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Judith L. Haggerty and her husband, Charles, of Norman, Okla., Justin T. Tracy Jr. and his wife, Judith, of Wilton and Michael A. Tracy and his wife, Bette Jo, of Wilton; grandchildren, Jessica M. Lynds, Wyatt T. Tracy, Eben M. Tracy, Ethan P. Tracy, Samuel J. Tracy, Ashlee A. Cote and Andrew W. Cote; cousins; three nieces; and one nephew.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Elizabeth Hood and Jeanette Hunt; and an infant son, Leon Brent.
