Q: Do you think AP classes should earn more class credits than regular classes?
Alex Berube
Junior
A: Yes, I think AP classes should earn more credits because they challenge you more than a regular class. So those classes should be worth more.
Meagan Sampson
Junior
A: Yes, AP classes should be worth more because they are harder and take up more time. If they were worth more credits people would not need to take as many classes and they could devote more of their time to an AP class.
Patricia Mucenski
Guidance Counselor
A: We are trying to push the issue of AP credits being worth a credit and a half because students get more time to focus on the core classes they are taking. As a result, their senior year they would not have to take classes they have no interest in. It would help all core classes, not just AP classes if they were worth more credits.
Emily Fuller
Junior
A: Yes, I think AP courses should earn more class credits because the workload for AP classes is bigger and the actual work is harder than regular classes.
Katie Dixon
Freshman
