BOSTON (AP) – The Bruins have signed forward Jeff LoVecchio to an entry-level contract with the team.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound left wing was a free agent who played the last three seasons for Western Michigan University.

He scored nine goals and had 12 assists in 36 games for the Broncos.

Terms of the deal with the Bruins were not released.

Boston returns to action Thursday night at home against the Montreal Canadiens.
