AUBURN – The Auburn Recreation Department is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a head coaching position the Auburn Falcons middle school level youth football program.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the game, proven leadership qualities, an intimate understanding of the developmental nature of youth sports, a strong commitment to sportsmanship and the ability to lead the coaching staff, players and parents involved in the program through a fun and rewarding football season. This is a stipend supported position.

In-season (mid-August to November) time commitment is approximately 15 to 20 hours a week, including late afternoon practices and one game a week during the eight-week game schedule.

Outside of this period, time commitment is minimal with periodic episodes of increased need.
