FARMINGTON – Geraldine Ann Robbins, 71, of Jay, died Friday, March 21, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness.

She was born Sept. 24, 1937, a daughter of Minnie Turcotte Robbins. On Nov. 12, 1955, she married Lawrence H. Robbins. He died on Aug. 15, 2003. In addition to being a homemaker, she was employed in local shoe shops.

She is survived by a son, Corey Robbins and his wife, Michelle, of Jay, and their children, Cole, Bradine, Trent and Caleb; two brothers, Ernest Robbins and his wife, Ellen, of Wilton and John Vehue and his wife, Sue, of Norway.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Rose Mary and Hazel Robbins.
